Well, it’s hard to believe that another year has pasted and my 2nd year as
Section Chair is ending this June. I would like to thank the Leadership Committee
members for their support throughout the year and all the work they did to make
the New Haven Section successful.
I would like to welcome the new elected officers on the Leadership Committee for
the 2008-2009 year. They are:
SECTION CHAIR NICK SQUEGLIA
VICE CHAIR JAY KRISHNAMOORTHY
SECRETARY JULIE PETRELLIS
TREASURER RANDY MESSINGER
I am sure this new team will take this section to new heights as quality is
constantly changing as new processes and products are developed. New
programs are always evolving every way such as manufacturing, the service
industry and hospitals. It is very difficult to stay on top of everything in your field
and your new Leadership Committee members are working hard to make that
easier for you. If you have any ideas or programs that you
would like to see offered, please feel free to contact any member of the team as
their contact information is on the last page of the newsletter. It is a very difficult
process to develop new programs for the monthly section meetings and any
feedback you can provide will be deeply appreciated. It is very evident that the
section members like plant tours as we get the best attendance at these events.
The Leadership Committee is always trying to find new companies to tour and if
you have any ideas or would like to volunteer your company for a tour, please let
us know.
Once again, I would like to thank the Leadership Committee for their support
through the last two years and I know the new board will do a great job!
